My very first blog post...nice

Well... Reading the Prologue and the first few chapters of this book caught me totally off guard.
I read some other blog posts and saw some people had confusion with the reading and I have to say, I fell into that category as well. Took me forever to read the chapters in attempt to try and decipher the many theories and experiments that went on in a subject that im quite unfamiliar with.

Initially I dove right in and started reading chapter 1. After the first page I said, wait a minute.... I have no idea what this book is about or what its trying to explain so I thought maybe backing up and reading the Prologue would be a good idea. I also read the back of the book and found it funny to find the phrase "highly readable" there. But besides all that, this is what I got out of the beginning of this book.

I think the book is trying to say that there is a sense of connection between everything in the universe through energy. Apparently Humans and the earth are one giant energy field that we can communicate with and relate to. I could see this being true because there are people that I know that I have a connection with. For example, me and a friend will be thinking a same thing without saying a word kind of like telepathy.

In chapter 1 I thought Ed's experience was pretty cool. It said he felt as if he just experienced "The Force". Overall I think its interesting how McTaggart takes all scientific experiments and doesn't take them for granted. Seems like she is thoroughly investigating each one and bringing up greater meanings as to why we exist. Apparently we will be going through a scientific revolution as well.
